Social media giant Facebook has started the exercise of appointing 20,000 moderators across the world to remove content related to terrorism, indecent and obscene content. Thousands of graduate candidates have applied to get this job.
According to media reports, Business Procurement Management Company (BPM) company Genpact had acquired Facebook's content management contract this year. He is hiring content moderators in Punjabi, Marathi, Oriya, Chhattisgarh, Tamil, Kannada, Mizo, Nepali and other Indian languages.
Genpact had vacancies for this on the online employment platforms and it is also organizing an interview from August. Talk to Job Profiles, then the selected candidates will have to monitor and moderate the user's content and video posted on Facebook, so that the online community gets a safe, fun and good environment.
Moderators will not be uncomfortable with sexual assault, terrorism, child sexual abuse, live suicide videos and violent content. For this, salaries are offered from 2.25 lakh to 4 lakh annually. In addition, content moderators will also get monthly incentives.
